Scan Source Files

Find supported scores already placed inside your Source Files folder.

StringFlow Source Files and library settings on Mac

Source Files scanning is for musicians who already manage score files in a folder and want StringFlow to adopt supported files from there.

Steps

  1. Choose or confirm your Source Files folder.
  2. Place supported scores in that folder.
  3. Open StringFlow.
  4. Choose Scan Source Files.
  5. Review newly found files.
  6. Import available scores and choose playable parts later from song detail when needed.

Why it helps

StringFlow can adopt files already in your Source Files folder instead of creating duplicate clutter with generated names.

Important boundary

If your Source Files folder is managed by iCloud Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, or another provider, that provider may sync the files. StringFlow itself does not upload your library.
