StringFlow helps connect written notes to playable fingerings without claiming that every fingering is perfect for every player.

How to use

  1. Import or open a supported piece.
  2. Choose the target instrument and playable part.
  3. Review the suggested fingering.
  4. Use StringFlow Default or a custom fingering preset.
  5. Refresh fingerings when you change preset preferences.

Chord guardrails

For bowed strings, StringFlow avoids obviously impractical stopped-chord suggestions by preferring unique strings, avoiding awkward non-contiguous string combinations when possible, and favoring same-position stopped chords.

Why presets matter

Fingering is personal. A beginner, a returning player, and a teacher may all prefer different position choices. Presets let StringFlow start from useful defaults while still giving you control.
